Lambert bemoans set-piece woes

The U's looked like they were heading for victory after striker Scott Vernon had fired them in front just before half-time. But Michael Nelson headed in Gary Liddle's corner with 20 minutes to go to secure a well-deserved point for Pools and leave Colchester eight points adrift of the play-off places in Coca-Cola League One. Colchester manager Lambert said: "I thought that we played really well but we've been caught by a corner. "Set-pieces are a big part of the game. Our goal was well deserved but to concede from a corner was disappointing because we have to defend them. Corners and free-kicks are a big part of the game and we have to get a grip of them, otherwise they cost us - it's up to us to rectify it."
