Izzet not surprised by away start

The U's have not landed a home fixture on the opening day since 2002, although at least they do not have far to travel this year with a trip to Norwich kicking off the campaign. "The first full season I was here we were at home against Stockport, but we have been away every year since, so I have almost come to expect us to be on the coach on the first weekend," said Izzet. "We won't have to wait long for a home game though, with the Carling Cup game against Leyton Orient, and with three home matches in the space of a week it will be a great chance to get started on a decent run in front of our own fans."
