Huddersfield will be without goalkeeper Alex Smithies (knee) and on-loan defender Tamas Kadar (hamstring).Goalkeeper Nick Colgan will go straight into the squad after joining the club on a short-term deal, while defender Liam Ridehalgh (illness) should play.

Colchester could include striker Steven Gillespie, who scored twice as a substitute against Bournemouth.

Ben Coker made his debut at left-back last week and is likely to keep his place in the side.

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark told BBC Radio Leeds: "Our win at Colchester was one of our best performances of the season. To win by that scoreline (3-0) shows what a good performance it was.

"We'll need to produce another performance of that standing to get the win this weekend.

"I watched Colchester against Bournemouth and thought they were very impressive and they have been consistently tough to beat throughout the season.

"John Ward is a fantastic manager, who I know well from my England Under-21 days. He'll have them well drilled and will play some good football."
