Heath ready for Colchester talks

Colchester defender Matt Heath hopes to agree a new deal to stay at the Community Stadium. The 30-year-old former Leeds and Leicester centre-half will be out of contract at the end of the season. "I'd definitely like to stay at Colchester," he told the Gazette. "I've been here for a few seasons now. I'm very settled and I enjoy being at the club. "I'll plug away until the end of the season and I'd do that whether I had three years left or three weeks left. "You play for the club, you play for yourself, you play for your family, you play for everybody - it doesn't change anything really."
