Aidy Boothroyd's men dominated from the off at Hayes Lane but it was not until the 31st minute that Colchester opened the scoring.[LNB]Simon Hackney met John White's cross on the half-volley from the edge of the area to leave Gareth Williams no chance in the Bromley goal.[LNB]And Kayode Odejayi ended the match as a contest just three minutes later after he picked up the ball in the Bromley half, beat two defenders and coolly slotted past Williams.[LNB]Bromley hit-man Warren McBean - who has 11 goals to his name this season - was replaced by Gareth A Williams at half-time and he immediately carved out the home side's first chance before tamely shooting at Colchester goalkeeper Ben Williams.[LNB]And Williams was left to rue his miss when David Fox's corner was met by the head of Clive Platt on 71 minutes.[LNB]And man-of-the match Fox provided the cross from the right for Gillespie - who replaced Odejayi - to lose his defender and head back across goal with three minutes left on the clock.[LNB][LNB]
