Gillespie back for United

Steven Gillespie returns to the Colchester squad for the trip to Plymouth. The striker, who has scored four goals in his last six outings, has been sidelined for a fortnight with a hamstring injury but proved his fitness with a 60-minute run-out in a practice match this week. Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole also played for an hour, his first match action in 10 months following a cruciate injury, but he needs to build up his fitness before a first-team return. Pat Baldwin looks set to miss out again with an Achilles problem, while fellow defenders Magnus Okuonghae and Brian Wilson are still recovering from ankle injuries. The Us have not won on the road since October but managed a battling 1-1 draw at Peterborough on Tuesday night.
