Fox keen to keep his starting place

Fox, making just his third start under Boothroyd, set-up two goals in the FA Cup thrashing and is now hoping to retain his place in the team.[LNB]"It's up to the manager to give me a chance and once he does, I've got to take it," he said. "I don't know if it was enough to get a game next week but hopefully I've put something in his mind and it's healthy competition.[LNB]"He pulled me aside and explained the situation and that was it - he's the manager and he makes the decisions and there's not a lot I can do about that.[LNB]"The manager has some decisions to make but not just with me but also with Simon Hackney and Phil Ifil, who have both come in after not playing a lot of football.[LNB]"We've made it difficult for him but he's a manager who has been at the top level so I'm sure he'll relish it."[LNB][LNB]
