Dual role for midfielder Holt
The 36-year-old, who played under Us boss Paul Lambert at Wycombe and was released from Adams Park at the end of last season, will join the coaching staff and be registered as a first-team player.
"I think he will be great on the coaching side of things for us," said Lambert.
"He will be here to help the younger kids coming through and to help with the first-team coaching as well. I can also use him if need be as a player and I know he won't let me down."
