Defender pens new U's contract
The 23-year-old centre-back has been in impressive form for the U's since joining them from League Two side Dagenham in the summer.[LNB]Okuonghae has been an ever present for Colchester in both league and cup - the only player to have started every single game for the club so far this season - and has skippered the side since club captain Pat Baldwin suffered an injury at Southampton in September.[LNB]Manager Aidy Boothroyd told the club's website, "I am very pleased that we have managed to secure him to a new contract. I think we have got a future star on our hands and he is in the right place to develop and grow his career."[LNB][LNB]
