Coyne completes switch to Glory
The Australia international negotiated his release from his contract with the U's on Thursday, paving the way for the 30-year-old to return to his hometown club where he will play alongside his younger brother Jamie.
A host of clubs from across Australia, the Middle East and China were also interested in Coyne's services but the defender insisted once he was aware of Glory's interest, there was only one place he would go.
"To play alongside Jamie and for my hometown club was an opportunity that I didn't want to pass up," Coyne said.
"I'm very happy to be coming home and I think Perth have been able to put together a really strong squad."
