The 22-year-old goalkeeper is close to putting pen to paper and is looking forward to pushing for a starting berth next term. "I'll hopefully have something sorted out with the club soon. I'm not that complicated for it to take too long," he told Green'Un 24. "I've been in talks with the manager (Paul Lambert), and he wants me to stay. I should be all signed up in the next week or two. "We all had our set times to see the manager on Monday, and my chat with him went really well. I'm pleased to be staying at Colchester United, and I'm looking forward to next season."
