11 missing for U's

Colchester's injury crisis shows no signs of easing as manager Joe Dunne tries to prepare to face third-placed Wolves.

The U's boss has 11 players unavailable, leaving him down to the bare bones for the visit of Kenny Jackett's side.

Sanchez Watt, Tosin Olufemi (both thigh), Drey Wright (knee), Tom Eastman, Josh Thompson (both ankle), Mark Cousins (foot), Conor Hubble (dead leg) Gavin Massey and Mason Spence (both hamstring) are all occupying the sidelines through injury.

To make matters worse, Ryan Dickson is struggling with the after-effects of illness and Daniel Pappoe completes his three-match ban.

James Henry is in line to make his Wolves debut.

The winger has joined Wanderers on a three-month loan deal from Championship side Millwall that reunites him with Wolves manager Kenny Jackett, who ended his stay with the Lions at the end of last season.

Jackett is also boosted by the return from suspension of David Davis, but the midfielder faces a battle to reclaim his first-team spot after fellow youngster Jack Price impressed in last Saturday's win over struggling Sheffield United.

Highly-rated winger Bakary Sako should keep his starting place despite Nottingham Forest reviving their interest in signing the Frenchman this week.
