U's ready to return to action

Colchester will hope to take to the field for the first time in three weeks when they host Rotherham.

The U's have not played since a 4-2 victory over Carlisle in mid-January, with subsequent clashes against Shrewsbury and Peterborough falling victim to the weather.

Ryan Dickson is again set to replace Luke Garbutt at left-back following his loan recall by parent club Everton.

Forward Gavin Massey will look to return to the bench having overcome his hamstring injury, while fellow long-term absentee Drey Wright is also back in light training after a knee operation but is still some way off first-team consideration. Defender Josh Thompson (ankle) remains sidelined.

Rotherham will be able to call on skipper Craig Morgan and Nicky Adams.

Morgan has missed the last five games due to a broken bone in his foot but is now fully fit, although boss Steve Evans has yet to decide whether to include him in the matchday squad.

Adams joined from Crawley on transfer deadline day but did not sign in time to make his debut in the 2-1 win over Leyton Orient.

Evans has no fresh injury or selection concerns, though hinted he would make changes for the game in Essex.
