Same again for Colchester against Grimsby

Colchester have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the visit of Grimsby to the Weston Homes Community Stadium for their Sky Bet League Two clash.

The U's won 2-0 at home to Cambridge at the weekend with Brennan Dickenson and Denny Johnstone both scoring on their home debuts.

Manager John McGreal has the same squad available after goalkeeper Sam Walker overcame a hand injury to return between the posts on Saturday.

But McGreal is still without Matt Briggs (hip) and Owen Garvan, who returned from injury to play for the development squad on Monday.

Grimsby captain Craig Disley is hoping to make his first appearance of the season after shaking off the effects of concussion.

Disley took a bang to the head in a pre-season friendly against Gainsborough Trinity and has been forced to watch from the sidelines, but will be included in Paul Hurst's squad and could feature.

Defender Zak Mills is closing in on his first competitive appearance for the Mariners but is not fully recovered from a hamstring injury and may have to wait until the weekend for a return to action.

Boss Hurst has no new injury or suspension problems but could be tempted to make one or two changes with Rhys Browne and Ashley Chambers pushing for their first league starts for the club.
