Duo set for Colchester recalls

Colchester boss Joe Dunne could recall Sanchez Watt and David Wright when they welcome Doncaster to the Community Stadium.

Watt (tendinitis) and Wright (Achilles) both played 90 and 65 minutes respectively during midweek for the development squad and could come into contention for a return as the U's go in search of their first league win of the season.

Drey Wright (knee) is a serious doubt after he picked up an opening-day knock on the same injury that hampered his 2013/14 season.

Craig Eastmond (ankle) returned to the bench for Tuesday's defeat at Notts County and will hope to reclaim his starting place.

Doncaster will check on captain Rob Jones.

Jones has only recently returned from a neck injury that kept him out for nine months and Rovers feared the worst against Preston on Tuesday night when the experienced defender had to be substituted after only 12 minutes with another neck problem.

However, scans have shown no serious damage and the 34-year-old could be available at the weekend.

Fellow centre-half Jamie McCombe (back) has resumed training and might travel but forward Harry Forrester is still suspended.
