Colchester set for German trip

Manager Paul Lambert will take his team to Bonn for a week of fitness training in the hope of getting them in pristine condition. Lambert also took his players to Germany during his time at Wycombe and believes it will be good preparation for the squad. "Germany will be really tough for them - it's warm there in the summertime. I know the way they're organised and the way they work over there," Lambert told the Gazette. "It's not like places like Spain, where teams go over there and they have the life to go with it. "There won't be much nearby - it's work and that's what I want to do."
