Coker stays with Chelmsford

Colchester defender Ben Coker has extended his loan spell with Chelmsford City for another month. The U's have also given permission for Coker to play in their FA Cup first-round tie against Hendon on Saturday. The 21-year-old left-back joined Colchester from Bury Town over the summer but was loaned out to gain first-team experience. And with Marc Tierney fit after a recent shoulder injury and Bristol City loanee Tommy Williams this week extending his deal, Coker has been allowed to stay with the non-leaguers.
