Colchester defender Ben Coker has extended his loan deal at Blue Square South side Chelmsford by another month. The 21-year-old moved to the Us in the summer from Bury Town and signed a two-year contract after a successful trial period but he has yet to make a first-team appearance. Coker has enjoyed a productive first month with the Clarets and with United extending the loan of Bristol City defender Tommy Williams, he has been allowed to stay on and now should be involved in Chelmsford's FA Cup first-round tie with Hendon on Saturday.
