Clarke in for Posh test

Colchester will add new signing Nathan Clarke to their squad for the visit of Peterborough on Friday night. With the Us in the midst of a defensive crisis, boss John Ward has drafted in the centre-half on loan from Huddersfield until the end of the season. Ward is still without crocked defenders Magnus Okuonghae, Brian Wilson (both ankle) and Morten Knudsen (knee) while Pat Baldwin is suspended following his red card at Brighton on Tuesday. Clarke is therefore in line for an immediate debut alongside Matt Heath at the back in what will be only his second appearance of the season. Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole is the only other absentee as he continues his recovery from a cruciate injury.
