Boothroyd targets U's response

Rovers went ahead early on through Dominic Blizzard's 25-yard effort, but the U's hit back five minutes later when John-Joe O'Toole's header deflected a Phil Ifil shot past Mikkel Andersen.[LNB]Jo Kuffour forced the ball home from Chris Lines' header after 67 minutes and then provided the cross for Lines to volley home and make it 3-1. Colchester substitute Kayode Odejayi reduced the deficit late on but it was not enough.[LNB]Boothroyd said: "If changes need to be made I will make them.[LNB]"It's unlike us to concede three goals but I'm also irritated that we didn't take our chances, especially in the first half when we could have got on top.[LNB]"Rovers deserved what they got in the second half. If you score twice in a game you should get something, but we weren't good enough defensively for that to happen. The one thing I could say about my group of players is that they bounce back quickly from setbacks and we need to do so again."[LNB][LNB]
