Boothroyd looking for U's response
The sending-off of Saddlers captain Mark Hughes should have given the visitors the perfect opportunity to strengthen their grip on a play-off spot, however defeat has now extended their winless run to four matches.[LNB]Boothroyd said: "Hughes is an honest player and he went in to get the ball but in this day and age if you go in like that with an inexperienced referee - you can't do things like that, and I think the referee got it right on this occasion.[LNB]"We hit the bar and a post and had a goal disallowed, but if we don't take our chances we get what we deserve.[LNB]"It was a sucker punch, we have got to accept it and we have a chance on Tuesday night to bounce back against Brentford."[LNB][LNB]
