Bond set for spell on the sidelines

Colchester are sweating on the fitness of Andy Bond after the in-form midfielder picked up a knee injury at the weekend. Bond, who has scored four goals this season, had to be withdrawn during Saturday's goalless draw with Oldham following a rash challenge from Dean Furman. "He's twisted his knee," said Us manager John Ward. "It looks like he's going to miss a little bit of football at this juncture though and I'll certainly be surprised if he's available next week."
