Baldwin turns down Pirates move
The 27-year-old defender spent the end of 2009 on loan from Colchester and impressed sufficiently for Rovers to table a bid for him.[LNB]But despite a deal being agreed between the two clubs, Baldwin has now opted to remain in Essex.[LNB]"We had agreed a fee with Colchester and agreed a package with the player as well, but at the last minute he decided he wanted to stay and fight for a place there," Trollope told the Bristol Evening Post.[LNB]"We would have liked Pat in the building but he has decided otherwise at the moment, which is his prerogative."[LNB][LNB]
