Goals either side of half-time from Anthony Wordsworth and Steven Gillespie secured a 2-1 win for Colchester, while Rickie Lambert netted a late penalty for Saints.[LNB]But Pardew was incensed by Colchester's "gamesmanship", saying "I know Aidy - he pushes it to the limit and they were allowed to get away with it."[LNB]But Boothroyd responded by saying, "Alan is a winner and winners are generally bad losers.[LNB]"When we go away from home we have things like that to deal with and when you're not winning, you tend to focus on things like that. I've known Alan a very long time and we'll have a drink and talk about it."[LNB]He added: "I'm thrilled to have won. We knew that they would come and try and stop us. Southampton is a big scalp for us - they have a big budget and a big squad."[LNB][LNB]
