Bankies fought back to earn a point having watched the hosts turn the game round with a couple of first half goals to go top the table Budgie McGhie made a couple of changes from last weeks defeat at East Kilbride, most notably Stefan Gonet returning in goals and Stevie Dymock returning up front. Bankies started the stronger and ROSS CAMPBELL fired them in front with just six minutes played. It was 1-1 just 6 minutes later though as the hosts fought back quickly. The home side took the lead just before halftime form the penalty spot after Gary Lynn was adjudged to have fouled an attacking player in the box. Bankies got back into with 23 minutes left, STEVIE DALLAS beating the keeper to his left. Darian MacKinnon had two good chances to win it, striking the bar with one of them. Kilwinning finished the game with 10 men when their no.11 picked up a second yellow card inside the last ten minutes. wIth other teams not on league duty, a point was enough to see Clydebank top the table this evening, although the others have games in hand.
