Cup Holders Clydebank make the short journey to Saracen Park in a repeat of last seasons final in the 3rd round of the D&D Programmes Central League Cup Budgie McGhie's side will be going all out to retain the cup against league rivals Ashfield but may have to do so with a depleted side. Charlie Hobbs limped off on Saturday with a tight hamstring while KevinMurray and Paul McMenamin could miss out again along with Scott Highlands who has a knock. With an important league game at home to Vale of Clyde on Saturday, McGhie could rotate his squad and also see a recall in goal for Stefan Gonet who has been on the bench due to the good form of Liam Campbell.
