Winger McLaren heads for Queens

Queen of the South have signed Willie McLaren after the winger had his contract torn up by Clyde.The 24-year-old, previously of St Johnstone and Airdrie, has signed a two-year contract with the Dumfries-based Division One club. He was one of 12 players who agreed to leave Clyde to prevent the Cumbernauld club, relegated to Division Two, going into administration.
