Flying start aids Queen's

Two goals in the opening 10 minutes helped Queen's Park move into third place with a convincing 3-0 win against Clyde.

Jamie Longworth handed the home side the lead in just the seventh minute. Owen Ronald's cross picked out Longworth, who showed his gratitude with an assured finish from just yards out.

Three minutes later the lead was doubled thanks to Ian Watt, who found the bottom corner of the net from close range, with Longworth this time turning provider.

James Brough could have made it three before the break but he could not keep his header on target.

And Ronald then had his second assist of the night two minutes from time when his pass found Martin McBride, the defender showing attacking quality with a finish that found the roof of the goal.
