Higgins leaves Clyde for East End

Dunfermline Athletic have signed Chris Higgins after the defender left relegated Clyde. The 23-year-old, who became a first-team regular after joining Clyde from Motherwell in 2005, has signed a two-year contract with the Pars. Higgins becomes their second summer signing, defender Andy Dowie having arrived after leaving Ross County.
