Banned Bronsky misses the beat

Clyde will be without Stevie Bronsky through suspension and six oher players as they bid to leapfrog visitors Stirling Albion.

Bronsky, sent off on his debut at Peterhead last weekend, is one of seven players manager Jim Duffy will be without.

Jack Sloss (wrist), Michael Oliver (knee), David Marsh (groin), Gavin Brown, Gary Graham (both ankle), Stuart McColm (knee) and Kevin Nicol (hamstring) are all ruled out.

Duffy said: "We have had a number of injuries for a while and I'll just need to keep shuffling the pack.

"We're struggling just now in terms of cover in certain positions, particularly in defence but will give it a go.

"Stirling have improved throughout the season, but hopefully we can finish higher up than them."

Stirling player/manager Grieg McDonald remains sidelined following knee surgery.

Brian Allison and Ross Forsyth are also out with respective knee injuries as Stirling aim for the win that would see them retain seventh place rather than be overtaken by their Bully Wee hosts and possibly Annan.

McDonald said: "We've had a great recovery and I want it to continue until the last day.

"Clyde have been very strong at home recently so we have to play well to get the win that will keep them at bay.

"It's been a good week as we re-signed Kieran McAnespie and Jordan White, so we want to keep that good feeling going longer."
