Ferguson looks to finish on a high

Barry Ferguson will bring the curtain down on his first season as the manager of Clyde when Queen's Park visit.

The Bully Wee boss has been denied the services of Scott McLaughlin who has a broken arm and Paul Slane who has been ill.

Ferguson said: "We won 1-0 at Montrose last weekend however the same problem that has hindered us all season was in evidence again as we failed to be ruthless in front of goal.

"We created a good number of chances but again our conversion rate was poor but hopefully we can end the season on a high with a goalscoring display against Queen's Park."

The visitors will be without the sought-after defender Shaun Rooney due to an ankle problem.

James Baty's long absence with a groin injury continues as Gus MacPherson's side play their last game before entering the play-offs.

MacPherson said: "I have players carrying knocks and if they are not 100% they will not play against Clyde. Billy Mortimer and Ryan Hynes are likely to be promoted into starting roles and I am sure that they will be looking to help us end a good league season with another win.

"You want momentum when you go into the play-offs and we will look to get some behind us by winning this game."
