Ferguson still missing for Clyde

Clyde entertain Queen's Park in the Scottish Cup and player-manager Berry Ferguson continues to be ruled out with an ankle injury that requires surgery.

Euan Murray is an injury doubt, with Ferguson expected to make changes after his side's 4-0 defeat at Arbroath last weekend.

He said: "We are a side that can play really well, however we need to start doing that throughout a game and consistently thereafter.

"Last weekend we were four down at half-time after starting really well and looking the better side.

"A repeat of our opening day win against Queen's Park would be very welcome but will only be secured by playing well."

Queen's Park are again without David MacGregor and Vinny Berry, who have hamstring injuries, as they look to bounce back from losing to Albion Rovers last weekend and dropping to third place.

Head coach Gus McPherson said: "That was a frustrating game as we created chances and never took them before being punished severely for a mistake.

"I would be pleased with the same level of performance again with just a bit of better fortune in front of goal.

"Clyde will probably have a sense of frustration as well as they have had inconsistent results. They will look to get the better of us to start climbing the table again."
