Queens to check on Gallacher

Bottom-of-the-table Clyde will be missing three defenders against Queen's Park.

Michael Oliver (ankle), Gavin Brown (hamstring) and David Marsh (groin) remain on the sidelines as Jim Duffy's side look to avoid an 11th straight defeat to the visitors.

The Bully Wee go into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over Peterhead, with boss Duffy saying: "It is probably our last game of the season against Queen's Park so I am determined that we go out and give it a real go to try and bring this run to an end.

"They have had a tremendous season and played some really good stuff and any team that can be winning 5-0 up at Elgin as they were in midweek deserve a lot of respect, but we are determined to have a real go."

Queen's Park will make a late check on Paul Gallacher to give him every chance of being available.

Head coach Gardner Speirs will wait right up until kick-off on Saturday afternoon before making a decision on the defender, who suffered a knee injury during the 5-3 win at Elgin on Tuesday night.

Giuseppe Capuano, Aidan Connolly and Jamie Longworth come back into contention for the Spiders but Tony Quinn remains out with a hip problem and Allan Urquhart is still struggling to overcome a knee injury.

Ahead of the game, Speirs said: "We are going to Clyde on the back of a good result but I am conscious that they are also going into the game after a good win.

"Any team that beats Peterhead and keeps their strikeforce quiet will be very strong opponents so we have to be prepared to work very hard to get the three points."
