Brown return boosts Clyde

Clyde defender Gavin Brown is available again after suspension, but a groin injury could prevent his comeback when the Bully Wee's bogey team Queen's Park visit Broadwood.

David Marsh is suspended and Michael Oliver is out with tonsillitis as the Cumbernauld club look to end a run of eight successive defeats from their Glasgow neighbours.

Manager Jim Duffy is looking forward not back, he said: "There is nothing we can do about previous games so I will be asking the players to go out and win this one.

"We had a good win at Annan last week where going in front was crucial as we took a lot of confidence from that.

"Despite the record there is little between the sides and we can look forward to the game."

Queen`s Park could hand midfielder David Anderson a start against Clyde after he completed a full week's training following an ankle injury that has kept him out for a month.

Youngster Aidan Connolly, who made a scoring debut last week against Stirling Albion, will keep his place in the Spiders squad but Jamie Brough will miss out through illness and Allan Urquhart will be absent due to a hamstring strain.

Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs said: "We got back to winning ways against Stirling after a sticky spell and it would be great to build on that. It will not be easy as I watched Clyde win at Annan and they played very well.

"They were particularly strong at attacking set pieces so we have to be ready to handle that."
