Sean Higgins suspended for Clyde
Clyde will be without Sean Higgins due to suspension when they host Montrose on the opening day of the Ladbrokes League Two season.
Injured duo Jon-Paul McGovern and Scott Ferguson (both knee) are also sidelined for the Bully Wee.
A young Clyde side lost 5-0 to Partick Thistle's under-20 side in the Irn-Bru Cup in midweek, however manager Barry Ferguson does not believe the result will have any bearing on Saturday's game.
"We tried a few things and a few players in that game and the team that takes on Montrose will be very different," he said. "We have been building up to the league season opening for what seems like a long time and are looking forward to getting going."
The Gable Endies have Terry Masson banned for the trip to Broadwood Stadium.
They will also be missing Michael Bolochoweckyj, who has a knee problem and is also suspended, along with injured defender Chris Hegarty (ankle).
Manager Paul Hegarty said: "We did not enjoy our Betfred Cup group where we finished at the bottom without a point and having scored only one goal so going to East Stirling in the Irn-Bru Cup in midweek and winning 3-0 was a terrific boost.
"Clyde have a strong squad and they have good attacking options in abundance with Pater MacDonald, David Gormley and Dylan Easton. If we can keep them out then we have a platform to win."
