Injuries hit Clyde as leaders Forfar bid to make it Magnificent Seven

Clyde will be without the suspended Martin McNiff when they take on leaders Forfar in the top-of-the-table clash at Broadwood.

The Bully Wee, currently in second place, will also be without Jordan Lowdon, Jon-Paul McGovern and Dylan Easton, who are all struggling with knee injuries.

Manager Barry Ferguson said: "We've had to show a lot of resilience recently due to injuries and we will need to have that to the fore again against Forfar.

"We stuck together to win at Elgin last weekend, especially after Martin was dismissed and the players deserve credit for it.

"Forfar have had a perfect start to the season so beating them will be a challenge."

Forfar manager Gary Bollan has a full squad to choose from as he looks to guide his side to a seventh straight league win.

Bollan said: "It is early in the season but this is a big game.

"They sit second just now and will not want us to increase our advantage any further. We have become a bit of a target and we need to show that we can handle that.

"Clyde have very good strikers in Peter MacDonald and Sean Higgins, however our front men showed a ruthless nature last weekend when we scored four times against Stirling. We will need that again in this game."
