Ferguson worry for Clyde

Clyde player-manager Barry Ferguson is an injury doubt for the visit of Elgin.

On-loan Rangers defender Craig Halkett is also struggling due to a knock.

Ferguson is looking for better from his side after the 2-2 draw against an Albion Rovers side that played with only 10 men for the vast majority of the match.

"It was a disappointing afternoon, however there is no use in looking back. I have told the players that we did not play well but we came away with a point so we will move forward.

"It is all now about defeating Elgin and picking up three points."

Elgin defender Jamie Duff is over the surgery he had on a knee injury in August and is pushing for a place in manager Barry Wilson's starting plans.

Ali Mackenzie continues to be out with a knee problem for the bottom side that are looking to build on taking a point home with them from Berwick last Saturday.

Wilson said: "I am not overly concerned about our position just now as we have only had three home games and the Clyde game will be our sixth away match so it has not been a level playing field.

"If we win this one we move upwards anyway."
