Third Division strugglers set to do battle

Clyde will include new loan signing Marc McCusker in their squad for the crunch bottom of the table clash against East Stirling at Broadwood.

Fellow Dumbarton loanee Kevin Nicoll is in line for a return to action following a hamstring injury, however David Marsh (groin), Michael Oliver (knee) and Gavin Brown (hamstring) miss out through injury.

A win for second-bottom Clyde would open up a five-point gap to the Shire, and Bully Wee manager Jim Duffy said: "We had a similar situation to this last month and actually went bottom as opposed to extending our lead as we lost 3-0.

"We appear to have improved since them whereas the Shire have had a disappointing run of results, but in a league as tight as this you cannot take anything for granted."

East Stirling look set to have new faces in their squad for the encounter.

Former Bolton, Hamilton and St Mirren midfielder Graeme McGregor has agreed a short-term deal while St Johnstone have agreed to loan defender Chris Moffat to the Third Division's bottom club.

Missing for John Coughlin's side will be the suspended David Greenhill and Kevin Turner as well as Rhys Devlin and Nathan Shepherd, who both have knee injuries, and Michael Herd (groin).

To add to Coughlin's shortages, Jamie Benton is unavailable due to family commitments and Raymond Buchanan continues to be absent after being placed on the transfer list.

Coughlin said: "We will have to shuffle things around but Graeme is a quality addition and Chris will help stiffen up our defence."
