Ferguson looking for fast start from his players against bogie side Berwick

Clyde will be without Scott Durie for their home game against Berwick, who they failed to beat in four meetings last season.

Durie is recovering from ankle surgery, but player/manager Barry Ferguson has no major new injury problems.

Ferguson said: "We never started well at East Fife last weekend and that ultimately cost us the three points.

"The players worked really hard to get themselves back into the game but it just never happened for them.

"Berwick are a good side that will be looking to bounce back from losing last week, so all I can do is ask the players to work just as hard again. I am sure things will go right for them if they do."

Berwick player/boss Colin Cameron has ruled himself out of the Broadwood clash due to a calf injury.

But Ross Graham is available again after work commitments had kept him out for three weeks.

Cameron said: "We played some really nice football against Annan last weekend but lost bad goals.

"We are having to work really hard to score, whereas we are making it easy for teams to score against us.

"Hopefully I will see a change to that against Clyde. We have suffered two defeats in a row now and whilst the league is still tightly packed I do not want to go down a third time."
