Marsh may miss Borderers test

Clyde defender David Marsh may continue to miss out against Berwick.

Marsh is available after serving a suspension but he suffered a groin injury in training this week and is a fitness doubt.

Bully Wee boss Barry Ferguson has been unable to add to his squad and he will go with the same players that held Queen's Park to a 1-1 draw at Hampden last Saturday.

He said: "I had three players making their debuts last weekend and the game was played in the manner I had been hoping for. I want us to be slick going forward but doing all the hard work required when we do not have the ball."

Berwick will go with the same group that defeated East Stirling 3-0, with the transfer-listed Paul Currie and Scott Dalziel again excluded from player/manager Colin Cameron's plans.

The Borderers enjoyed a better second quarter of the season and Cameron is keen for his men to show the consistency required to push for promotion.

He said: "We played really well against Queen's Park a fortnight ago and then built on that with a good win over East Stirling. Both those games were at home so we now need to show that we can go away and get a result that keeps our momentum going."
