Double injury blow for Clyde

Clyde are without Jon-Paul McGovern and Jordan Lowdon against visitors Arbroath.

Knee injuries have accounted for both players while David Marsh drops out after parting company with the club last week by mutual consent.

Phil Johnston is an injury doubt but new recruit Ross Perry is added and Scott Ferguson could be available after eight months out with a knee injury.

Despite beating Cowdenbeath 5-3 in their last outing Bully Wee boss Barry Ferguson is looking for improvement.

He said: "We were terrific in an attacking sense however defensively we were poor. Arbroath have good strikers and we need to implement the things we have been working hard on in training."

Arbroath manager Dick Campbell adds the fit-again pair of Ryan McCord and Martin Scott to his squad to give him a full complement of players to pick from.

The returning duo may have to be content with a place on the bench though as Campbell said: "Both Martin and Ryan are good players however we scored five goals past Stirling Albion in our last outing and showed a lot of character to come from behind at one stage of the game.

"Clyde have a strong squad and will be difficult opponents however we have grown stronger every week and this will be a great test of the strength we now feel that we have."
