Ferguson overhauls squad

Clyde manager Barry Ferguson's revamp of his squad continues ahead of the visit of Annan.

Keighan Parker has joined from Airdrie and Scott McLaughlin comes on board from Ayr United.

Kevin Watt and Michael Daly have joined junior sides on loan, with striker Mark Roberts in line for a second game as a trialist.

Ferguson, who has no injury or suspension worries said: "Our last two games have been more of the standard I am looking for with a good draw with Arbroath and then a win at East Stirling.

"Hopefully we can build on them and see off Annan to close the gap in the search for the play-offs."

Annan have brought former Manchester City and Rangers defender Andrew Mitchell back to Galabank after a spell with Southport and he has gone straight into manager Jim Chapman's plans.

After losing to Montrose last weekend Chapman could make further changes as Steven Sloan and Steven Black are set to return from injury.

However, Kenny Mackay continues to be absent after knee surgery.

Chapman said: "We did well at Montrose until we took the lead when we stopped doing all the work required to shut our opponents down.

"Hopefully we have finally learned from it as it has happened a few times this season and cost us a few points."
