Ferguson ready to rescue Clyde
Former Scotland captain Barry Ferguson is set to start as the player/manager looks to rescue his Clyde side.
The ex-Rangers star could be involved after seeing his side slump to the foot Scottish League Two on the back of three defeats with Brian McQueen also available after suspension.
Scott McManus is the only injury doubt and Ferguson said: "It is maybe time to try something different and I am fit enough to be involved.
"I cannot fault the players for effort and they have been really unlucky in games. Hopefully our luck will turn against Annan."
The Galabank visitors will include their coach Peter Weatherson as a signed player after his match-winning performance as a trialist last weekend at East Stirling.
Missing for Annan are Matthew Flynn (jaw), Steven Swinglehurst (knee), Kieran Brannan (foot), Scott Davidson (knee) and Kenny Mackay (knee) with Stephen Sloan out due to family commitments.
Manager Jim Chapman said: "I do not read too much into Clyde's poor run as we had one ourselves at the start of the season and it came to an end. Their run will end as well but hopefully that will happen after this game is out of the way."
