McCluskey blow for Clyde

Clyde are set to be without Stefan McCluskey for the visit of East Stirling.

The striker is expected to miss out after picking up a calf injury in training last week.

The Bully Wee have defender David Marsh available after a one-match ban, but he is likely to miss the game due to a back complaint.

Broadwood boss Jim Duffy is looking for improvements at both ends of the pitch following his side's 2-1 defeat against Elgin last weekend.

He said: "We actually played really well at Borough Briggs but we lost because we gave away two incredibly bad goals and never added to our one goal lead despite being well on top.

"Hopefully we can show the improvement required by keeping East Stirling out and scoring against them when we have the chance."

East Stirling are without Mark Begg for their visit to Broadwood.

Begg is struggling with illness and joins the injured Craig Donaldson, Jamie Benton, Jamie Glasgow and Rhys Devlin and suspended Philip Zufle on the sidelines.

Head coach John Coughlin, who will again have trialist Raymond Buchanan in his squad, is looking for his side to repeat their 3-0 success over Clyde from earlier in the season

He said: "We are six players down which is not ideal but we played really well against Clyde earlier in the season and hopefully that will inspire us to do the same again this time.

"We have a run of games coming up that if we do well in, then our season can take on a very different complexion."
