Craig Gunn brace not enough to deny 10-man Clyde

Craig Gunn scored two first-half penalties but it was not enough for Elgin as 10-man Clyde recorded a 4-2 Scottish League Two win at Broadwood Stadium.

Jon-Paul McGovern grabbed an early opener for the home side as he fired home Michael Bolochoweckyj's cross from close range before Gunn converted his first penalty after 12 minutes and his second - following handball from Chris Smith - midway through the first half to put the visitors ahead.

Clyde defender Scott Ferguson levelled matters from the centre of the area approaching the half-hour mark and David Gormley got on the end of John Gibson's free-kick five minutes after the break as the hosts went ahead for the second time in the game.

Clyde lost Chris Mitchell to a second yellow card after 80 minutes but Scott Linton still managed to add some gloss with his side's fourth goal with six minutes remaining.
