Clyde maintain play-off push with win over Berwick

Clyde boosted their Scottish League Two play-off hopes with a 2-1 win over struggling Berwick at Broadwood Stadium.

Two goals in as many first-half minutes gave the hosts complete control, with Scott Linton breaking the deadlock from the spot after Brian Martin's handball in the 33rd minute.

John Gemmell made it 2-0 immediately after, heading Chris Smith's cross past Berwick goalkeeper Mark Walters and into the bottom-left corner.

Ewan McNeil pulled one back for Berwick with 20 minutes remaining, shooting into the corner, but it was too little too late and they remain two points above bottom-side East Stirling.
