Clyde climb with home victory over Annan
David Gormley and Jon-Paul McGovern scored either side of the break to help Clyde move up to second in the Ladbrokes League Two table with a 2-1 win over Annan.
Clyde, who earlier in the day extended the contract of boss Barry Ferguson, have moved above Elgin and are now just a point behind leaders East Fife.
Peter Weatherson and Barry Cuddihy wasted chances to break the deadlock for Annan while Clyde defender Chris Smith also went close with a header.
The Bully Wee, though, took the lead five minutes before the break when Gormley slotted home a right-footed shot into the bottom corner.
McGovern then doubled Clyde's advantage three minutes after half-time with his own right-footed effort.
Matthew Flynn pulled a goal back for Annan on 78 minutes but Clyde stretched their winning run to four games.
