Scott Ferguson double fires Clyde to fourth win in a row

Clyde notched a fourth successive win, 2-0 at home to a rapidly sinking East Fife.

Early on, the home side's Scott Ferguson had a shot blocked and within seconds Scott Durie forced Ryan Goodfellow into a good parry.

Ferguson did get his name on the scoresheet in the 34th minute, firing the Bully Wee in front after Scott Linton lifted a cross to the back post.

Clyde held on determinedly to their slender lead, and Ferguson justified his billing as man of the match by securing the three points late on for his side.

John Gibson turned defence into attack with a swift clearance, and the striker controlled and dispatched past Goodfellow with considerable interest.
