Queen's Park take control of Ladbrokes League One play-off final

Queen's Park put one foot in Ladbrokes League One with a 3-1 play-off final first-leg win over Clyde.

The Spiders were quick into the ascendency and needed just five minutes to take the lead against their fellow League Two opponents, Sean Burns firing home from the spot after David Galt was fouled.

John Gemmell headed Clyde level 10 minutes later and Queen's Park had to wait until just after the hour to restore their lead when Vinnie Berry found the bottom corner.

Galt then gave them daylight when he struck a superb effort from distance with six minutes remaining, putting them in firm control ahead of Saturday's second leg.
