Arbroath end Clyde's winning run
Clyde's four-match winning run in Ladbrokes Scottish League Two ended with a 2-0 home defeat to Arbroath.
A game of few clear scoring chances looked destined for stalemate until Kane Hester broke the deadlock and an unnamed trialist netted late on.
Clyde, who would have moved up to second in the table with victory, had efforts off target from Scott McLaughlin and Chris Smith twice before Arbroath threatened through Greg Rutherford just after the half hour mark.
The visitors began the second half better and Jordan Lowdon went close before Robert Linn missed a couple of opportunities but it was Clyde who came closest to a goal when David Marsh saw a shot strike a post after 69 minutes
Hester's rising shot put Arbroath ahead in the 83rd minute and the trialist struck a minute later to seal back-to-back league wins for Todd Lumsden's team for the first time since September.
